The Golden Circle ClassicThis popular excursion introduces you to some of the best known historical sites and natural phenomena in Iceland.
We start by visiting Nesjavellir, a high temperature geothermal area in the scenic landscape of Lake Þingvallavatn. From there we go to the Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was founded in the year 930 AD. Þingvellir is geologically remarkable and the tectonic plate boundaries form a breathtaking scenery.

We continue to the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss, where we can walk so close to the edge that we might feel the mist of the glacial water on our faces.
Our lunchbreak is usually at the Gullfoss Cafe. Sometimes we also stop for lunch at the Information Center at the geothermal area around Geysir.
From there we journey towards the geothermal area around the incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. We proceed to Skálholt church, the ancient seat of the Icelandic bishops. From there we travel towards Hveragerði, a small and charming horticultural village.
Due to weather and road conditions we cannot guarantee visits to Nesjavellir in the winter season.

The Northern Lights tour:Join us for a mysterious trip, on a dark winter night. Any time from the onset of autumn darkness until the light nights of spring we can witness one of nature’s most spectacular displays; the phenomenon which we call the Northern Lights. Far from the glow of the city, we hunt for the elusive Aurora Borealis – known as the Northern Lights. Together we will search for these magnificent auroras. On a clear night, we may be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights swirling in a wild and carefree dance across the sky in dramatic shapes, colors, patterns and sizes.
We reserve the right to cancel this tour if the evening sky is heavily clouded or weather conditions are not favorable. A decision is taken daily at 6 pm whether the tour will take place or not. All hotels and booking agents in Reykjavik are informed by email about our decision so please contact the front desk of your hotel or the.Before we start this tour we always check the weather forecast around the south western part of Iceland. From experience, we decide where each journey will lead us, for the best possibilities to see the Northern Lights. The price is per person € 35.

Tour Description:This is a perfect tour to enjoy some of the stunning landscape the south of Iceland has to offer.
We begin the journey by driving over the plateau of Hellisheiði towards Selfoss town and onwards to the village of Hvolsvöllur where we have our first stop. If the weather conditions allow you will be able to see Hekla volcano and Eyjafjallajökull glacier/volcano on the way.
Panoramas IcelandWe continue along the south shore to the community of Skógar where you will have change to visit the local museum and the magnificent Skógafoss waterfall. From there our journey takes us to Sólheimajökull glacier outlet where we will stop for half an hour.
Next stop is at the village of Vík which is located close to the ocean. Have a walk to the beach and have a closer look at the beautiful basalt sea stacks.
On our way back to Reykjavík we will stop at Reynishverfi where you can walk down to the black beach with its beautiful pillars of basalt columns. We proceed onwards to Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you can walk behind. Before reaching Reykjavík we will pass through the charming villages of Eyrabakki and Stokkseyri.

Greater Area Reykjavík SightseeingThis tour includes the most significant places in the capital and the surrounding towns. Only a few places are listed below.
We visit the presidential residence at Bessastaðir as well as Hafnarfjörður, the town where the “hidden people” and humans live together in harmony. There we also visit the old fishing harbor.
In Reykjavik we go to the viewing platform at Perlan, which is built on water tanks that hold the city’s hot water supply.
After enjoying the spectacular view over Reykjavík and its surroundings we go to Höfði house where the all-important summit between former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and former U.S.S.R. Secretary General Mikhail Gorbachev took place in 1986.
We visit Hallgrímskirkja church and the old town centre where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi and the town hall are situated.
We also show you the sports and recreation area in Laugardalur, with its geothermally heated outdoor swimming pool, and sculptures crafted by Ásmundur Sveinsson.
